The Tornado Aspirating Surface Aerators have been successfully utilized in the upgrading of sewage oxidation ponds to provide better effluent quality and eliminate odour as well as increase treatment capacity.
The Tornado Aerator represents the most innovative, yet proven solution to aeration equipment design. The Tornado is a high-efficiency, totally self-contained, horizontally mixing, solid shaft aspirating aerator. Mounted on floats or brackets, it uses a subsurface propeller to aerate and mix any part or all of a basin.
Aeration and mixing occur below the water surface to eliminate water spraying and splashing. The results:
